Life On A Sketch

 Personal Fact:

“When all is said and done and I breathe my last breath, my prayer is that I have been uncompromising in my dignity, my integrity and my deep faith in God. There is nothing more valuable than my soul.” ~ Laura

Visual Storytelling

The world around us has many stories to be heard and told.

Photography has a way of capturing and retelling that story with a click of a button.

From the time we are children, we continue to ask ourselves..

Who am I?

And we are naturally curious, always looking for something…

As we get older, we find ourselves looking at all the options…

Realizing that anything worth striving for may have many obstacles…

And more importantly, the way we live and tell our story

will eventually help us grow and evolve to become more content.

The Awakening

I took a walk against the winter wind. I saw some of the most beautiful images among the dull nakedness of the season. But none so beautiful as the seed pod waiting to bloom on a bare branch.

Stripped of its many faces of color, the tree stands bare…waiting for the awakening. No winter lasts forever. It’s only for a season.

There’s No Place Like Home

The black silhouette of the dragonfly hovers over my car

and I can’t help but wonder if he realizes he’s not home.

Like most of us, the dragonfly is temporarily out of his own element. Sometimes it’s useful to go out of this world and see things from a different perspective. Finding the true meaning of life is what we all seek. The difference is the journey.
