A Bloggers Voice

Every blogger has a voice. That’s why we write. That’s why we share. We want to be heard because we have something important to say.

The View From My Window has taken many twists and turns over the past few years but I have tried to stay focused on one main goal… to stay positive. Whether I write for fun, share my photos, inspire with a Laura-ism, or just simply share my personal thoughts…it’s all deliberate. It’s all about finding my voice.

I think the key to unlocking our creative potential is to always take that next step to finding our uniqueness. Finding our voice. Developing our voice. Understanding our voice. And eventually sharing that voice with others.

If you are interested in hearing the voice behind this blogger…please feel free to listen to The View From My Window Podcast. I’m still a newbie andย justย started getting my feet wet. I have so far to go and so much more to say, but I know with you as my community of support, our voices will become a platform of authentic expression.

Thanks to all of you who

are a constant support to me

and my “view.”

I trulyย appreciate you.

  1. You are a very ambitious blogger Laura. I commend you for all the different ways you use to connect with others. Some of us are not as good with technology as you are. So we stick to basic blogging. I enjoy your positive attitude and all the ways you use to find friends. (Remember I am older than you – things are harder to learn. Ha)

    1. LOL, Peggy! I’m not that young and I’m not that good with technology. Google is a wonderful friend when trying to learn new things. Ha Ha But thanks for your encouraging comments. You will see the comedy in all this one day when I mess up big time. I need a good laugh! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. You are right about the reason we all write. Powerful post! ๐Ÿ˜Š thank you for posting! Keep on writing! And I also love that you said “to stay focused on one main goal” good for you! You are brave, if you haven’t already known this, for doing this. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

    1. I’m not sure brave would be the word…it’s more like naรฏve, raw and inexperienced blogger taking a risk. LOL But thanks for your vote of confidence. I appreciate your encouraging words. You made me smile! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. That’s great! I could use the help. I’m still having trouble pulling up your blog. It still comes up a broken link. Can you post your link so I can try it again?

      1. I think helping you with your podcast would be great. Perhaps I can give you a show idea. Forgive my venting…. For being on the radio we are instructed by our bosses and professors that social media is in and because of that we must stay connected to the general audience of listeners. I am a Christian… However I am not just your Sunday Christian. I am your everyday… I read the Bible everyday for hours on end.. However I do have a problem… I fear as a society that more socially connected we become to the world the more disconnected we become from God. For example how many are on their phones everyday checking websites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others… Yet at the same time how many instead of listening to rock music on their way to work would listen to an audio Bible? We as a people and as believe need to give our attention to God rather silly twitter wars involving celebrities… Daniel had it right praying three times a day kept the lions at bay….. He fed his faith and it was stronger than his feelings…..

  3. “Every blogger has a voice.” This just cannot get better….And what a message to start with your podcast, “The view…..But I choose to see the positives.” Sharing the scriptures with friends is a wonderful way of spreading the positivity!….

    1. Thanks you so much. I really appreciate your stopping by, reading and commenting. I’m a wife, mother, and the list could go on and on…but I’m a Christian first, so I can’t help but bring the best positive we have into the mix. I try to be preachy. I don’t like to be preached to but rather uplifted by words. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. oops….I try to NOT be preachy. UGH! Why do I always do that. I just need to proofread more before I hit the ‘post comment’ button. LOL
