  1. Hello Laura – I discovered your blog through a link “Merry Hearts Medicine,” posted. She has been one of my blogging friends for awhile. She said your blog was so nice, so I stopped by to see and she was right. I love the ocean, this is a beautiful photo – When I am near the ocean it always gives me peace. I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and best of all a Christian who loves God above all else. I love nature, photography, painting, drawing, traveling, camping, and on and on. God put so many beautiful things on this earth to enjoy, IF we stop, look, listen, and see what God has created. Hope we can become blogging friends – Liz.

    • Hi Liz! Thanks so much for stopping by my window and checking out the view. Sounds like we have a lot in common. Merry Hearts Medicine has been so supportive and encouraging to me. I only hope I can return the favor to her and others. I don’t get to the ocean as often as I would like but when I do, the absence only makes my heart grow fonder of its sense of awe and quiet it gives me. My children are grown and I’m enjoying grand parenting. Although I’ve experienced much as a wife and parent, I feel that in my 50’s, I’m just now beginning to live and love life for all its beauty. I truly enjoy writing and blogging and I’m thankful you’ve come my way. I look forward to our new found friendship!😃

      • Life does seem to get better in your 50s. The kids are gone and there is more time to do the things you like. Maturity helps one see the beauty of life more.
