My World of Octobers

One sunny, fall morning...while collecting leaves with my Pre-K class, I asked a student,
"What color leaves are you collecting?"  The young, petite girl proudly replied,
" I'm not looking at the colors. I'm looking for the broken ones
because they aren't perfect and need special love."

Much like the young, Pre-k student collecting the broken leaves

so she can love and care for their flaws… so it is with God; as He ;

the Creator of us all…takes our brokenness, our blunders and imperfections

to  make the patterns and colors of our lives even more beautiful.

I am thankful for my world of Octobers.
