Monday Musings…

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Psalm 90:14

In our modern day world, life’s fast pace is spent with our heads and hearts in the vast web of the internet…searching…longing for satisfaction in something. Sometimes we get caught up in our own hamster wheel, going round and round, with no place to go. In the midst of the blur, we may lift our eyes just long enough to pause and wonder…”What is my purpose?”  We sigh…and start again the morning after.

May we lift our eyes long enough each day to see the morning sun and know our purpose and our satisfaction is in Him above.

  1. There is an innocence within waiting to be remembered. In our daily lives, its forgotten with layer upon layer of programming and postionalities. Repeatedly, searching high and low for lasting happiness. It must be inside this or within that and so the search goes on, never giving up for we know it lies just over there… somewhere.
The voice that calls out to us ever so gently, compelling us home. How long can we follow it before the clouds come back again urging us to reconnect with the linear. Floating off to such lofty places and then to be pulled back like a kite on a string. Patience will be the victor for little by little, time after time, we go a bit farther and get closer to the realization we never left, but simply forgot. And then… we remember.
