Thankful Thursday

With Thanksgiving soon upon us, let us remember that this is more than just a day to circle on the calendar. In this midst of all the busyness, celebration and chaos of just one day…remember to live a lifetime of Thanksgiving….and During that lifetime, remember to share your blessings and thanksgiving with others…and During all the sharing, remember where the source of each blessing begins. Our foundation for all thanksgiving should be God.

On this Thankful Thursday, I want to take time to voice my thankfulness for someone very special to me.

I Love that I can call you…

I love finding your dirty socks where you randomly kicked them off at the end of a long day.

I love picking up your empty, colored stained Popsicle sticks scattered around the house knowing where you have been.

I love your hats and your sense of confidence; especially when you wear them backwards.

I love your laugh…that quirky, uncontrollable laugh that turns heads when you’re in the room.

I love the way you meticulously find your special pillow on the bed when all the pillows are exactly the same and once it’s found…it’s fluffed, flipped and fluffed again before resting your head.

I love the way you hold my hand in a crowded room as though I were the only one there.

I love to watch you fall asleep with such calmness on your face.

I love the way I find the blankets folded back across the bed in the mornings, knowing you were asleep there just moments before.

I love to hear your evening prayers and know what’s written on your heart.

I love to see the door swing open and know it’s you on the other side.

I.

I love.

 I love you.

I love that I can call you.

I love that I can call you husband.

I love that I can call you my husband.

Philippians 1:3 I thank my God every time I remember you.
