Thankful Thursday

If only life on earth was like a stroll in the park…easy, slow and always a comfort. Instead, it’s full of change and never the same. Whether change by choice or change by circumstance, change is inevitable. And, all the while…we long to go back to what life was; the familiar, the comfortable, the uninterrupted. The easy stroll in the park!

I thank God for CHANGE!

Although change may be disregarded by many, change is a time of celebration. Change is a time of reassurance…Reassurance in God, knowing He will make all things known through the course of change. By moving forward, we find true purpose…we find our true selves. Through change, at that very moment and in that very place in time; we are what God intended for us to be. And the good thing about it is, it’s not just for ourselves but also, for those who we were meant to touch by making a difference in them and their world.

So, if we must CHANGE…Do it well! Do it willingly! Do it wonderfully!

“There is always, always, always something in life to be thankful for.”

“I thank God for this ‘not-so-easy’ stroll in the park.’ I thank God for CHANGE”

Ecclesiastes 3:3-8

  1. Thanks Camilla. I wrote this more for my benefit as I go through many changes in my life right now. I pray I can give God the room He needs to work in and through my life to make beautiful things happen. I need to EMBRACE it! Thanks for sharing that wonderful word and advice.

  2. The world is never standing still, nothing is. It is constantly evolving, changing. It takes the same amount of effort to resist change as it does embracing it. Yes, it’s not always easy but change is inevitable. And yes, there is always, no matter what, something to be grateful for. Great post!
